TIME WARNER CABLE: Time Warner Cable will adorn the hood of Earnhardt’s No. 88 Chevrolet SS this weekend at Kansas and will be the primary sponsor on the car for one more NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race this year: Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway on Oct. 12. Fans can support Earnhardt and the No. 88 team by using the hashtag #WinKansas on Facebook and Twitter:

AT KANSAS: In 14 Cup starts at Kansas, Earnhardt has recorded one pole position, one top-five finish and six top-10s. He has completed 97.9 percent of all the laps he's attempted (3,609 laps of 3,686 total) at the 1.5-mile racetrack. The 38-year-old driver has led a total of 82 laps there.

CHASSIS CHOICE: This weekend at Kansas, crew chief Steve Letarte and the No. 88 crew will unload Hendrick Motorsports Chassis No. 88-822. This is a brand new chassis that has not been raced.

INTERMEDIATE TRACK STATS: In 239 Cup starts on intermediate (one- to two-mile) tracks, Earnhardt has recorded six wins, eight pole positions, 45 top-five finishes and 95 top-10s. He has a 16.3 average starting position and an average finishing position of 16.6 on these racetracks.

The Hendrick Motorsports teammates rank one-two in top-10 results as well – Gordon is first with 71, and Johnson has 69.

1.5-MILE POLE: Johnson ranks third all-time and second among active drivers with 12 pole positions at 1.5-mile tracks. The driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet SS needs one more pole to catch Ryan Newman, who leads active drivers with 13.

DALE EARNHARDT JR. (ON KANSAS SPEEDWAY.): “We had a lot of speed the last time we were at Kansas, but just had a bit of bad luck. For two weeks in a row we've had fantastic race cars. I’m proud of my guys for bringing such good cars to the track. We are bringing a new chassis this weekend, and I’m hoping we unload fast.”
