MOORESVILLE, N.C. (March 1, 2019) – Winning any new car while contributing to a very worthwhile effort is exciting. Winning Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Chevrolet Corvette Z06 while contributing to The Dale Jr. Foundation might just be the most exciting thing you’ll ever do. Tickets for the annual ‘Win Dale Jr.’s Ride’ raffle to benefit The Dale Jr. Foundation are now on sale here, and for just $25 per ticket, you’re a winner either way.

“The ‘Win Dale Jr.’s Ride’ raffle is one of my favorite initiatives each year,” said Earnhardt Jr. “There is always excitement around this program.  Chevrolet always provides us with an incredible Corvette, and the money raised helps so many people. We’re proud to offer the ride of a lifetime for the opportunity to make lives better for those who need it.”

For the ninth straight year, The Dale Jr. Foundation is offering a chance to win one of these fantastic machines, a 2019 edition equipped with the 2LZ package. In Admiral Blue Metallic, the Corvette Z06 comes with a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 Direct Injection engine coupled to a seven-speed manual transmission and wearing a carbon-fiber ground-effects package. The raffle serves as a primary fundraising effort for The Dale Jr. Foundation, which gives underprivileged individuals, with a focus on youth, the resources to improve their confidence and education and the opportunity to achieve extraordinary goals.

This year, there are 10,888 tickets for the raffle, each going for $25. In addition, there are secondary prizes available depending on when tickets are purchased. From March 1 to April 15, a $2,000 cash prize will be drawn for on April 29. A $1,000 drawing will take place on May 29 for tickets purchased between March 1 and May 15, and two $500 prizes will be drawn for on July 8 for tickets purchased before June 30. The raffle has raised more than $1.6 million for The Foundation, which was started by Earnhardt Jr. and Kelley Earnhardt Miller, who serves as vice-president.

“The ‘Win Dale Jr.’s Ride’ raffle enables The Dale Jr. Foundation to spread hope and inspiration to those who strive for empowerment in their lives,” said Earnhardt Miller, “This raffle, which has the strong support of Chevrolet, has helped The Foundation raise more than $8.1 million since its founding, and we are excited for this year’s program.”

The Corvette Z06 lives up to the model’s history as a high-performance machine. With the 2LZ package, the Corvette features a seven-speed manual transmission, a Billy Boat c7 Fusion Exhaust with a bi-modal design and carbon-fiber tips, heated and ventilated seats, a 10-speaker Bose premium audio system and front parking cameras. The carbon-fiber aero package adds a carbon-fiber front splitter with aviation-style end plates, carbon-fiber rocker panels and a carbon wickerbill atop the larger rear spoiler. The combination is rated at 650 horsepower and rockets the car to 60 miles per hour in less than three seconds. More good news for the lucky winner: The Dale Jr. Foundation also pays the taxes on the Grand Prize.

The raffle ends on Aug. 31, 2019 and the drawing will be held Sept. 9, 2019, with the winner notified soon after.
