Dale Jr. NBC News

Fans will have three opportunities to watch Dale Jr. during NBC's pre-game coverage of Super Bowl LII.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Feb. 4, 2018) – It is February, and you know what that means.

It’s the Super Bowl!

Normally, when we’re talking about Super Bowls here, we mean something different, but this year, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is going to kick off his broadcasting career at that other big event in February, Super Bowl LII, in Minneapolis.

Those tuning in will get the chance to see the 15-time NASCAR Most Popular Driver on at least three occasions during the pre-game programming:

  • Around 1 p.m. ET, Earnhardt Jr. and Rutledge Wood will do an intro at the top of the show.
  • At approximately 2:50 p.m., Earnhardt Jr. and Wood will have a 45-second segment.
  • At 3:50 p.m. or thereabouts, a five-minute outdoor feature with Dale Jr. featuring skijoring (you’ll see) and snow tubing with some familiar faces, at least to NASCAR fans.

Tune in for Dale Jr.’s NBC TV debut!
