The arrival of Dale Jr.'s retirement gift from Talladega Superspeedway has added to his to-do list.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Jan. 25, 2018) – Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been officially retired as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver for a little more than two months.

It’s not as if the 43-year-old superstar has been sitting on his hands during that span, but the arrival of one of his retirement gifts from Talladega Superspeedway has added to his to-do list, you can be sure.

Let the projects begin!

When the car was given to him last October, it was with the proviso that the International Motorsports Hall of Fame (located on the grounds of the giant Alabama speed plant) would be checking in from time to time to see that their “trophy” was being cared for in the manner to which it had become accustomed.

The project, as Earnhardt Jr. outlined, will be to add to what is already a lovingly restored piece of NASCAR—and family—history.
