MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 16, 2017) – A reasonably innocuous Tweet from Dale Earnhardt Jr. earlier today revealed something that hasn’t been common knowledge: the Earnhardts, Dale Jr. and Amy, are expecting a child.

That’s right...the pitter-patter of little feet is coming to Dirty Mo Acres. According to the Tweet, the happy couple found out around Labor Day (no pun intended), and had been keeping the knowledge close until today.

The announcement of the impending arrival of a little girl was made on Instagram.

 

Excited to share the wonderful news that @mrsamyearnhardt and I are expecting our first child. A little girl!!!! We are both thrilled and can’t wait to meet her.
