Nationwide and Dale Jr. Announce “Ride with Dale Jr. to Help Kids Everywhere” Campaign

Nationwide, and its Nationwide Children’s Hospital, unveiled Dale Jr.'s paint scheme for the No. 88 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Chevrolet he will drive in the July race at Kentucky Speedway.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 3, 2016) – In association with long-time sponsor Nationwide and its Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Dale Earnhardt Jr. today unveiled the paint scheme for the No. 88 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Chevrolet he will drive in the July race at Kentucky Speedway.

It’s called “Ride with Dale Jr. to Help Kids Everywhere”, and is a unique three-tiered donation program through which fans can donate to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital and have their names appear on the car during the race at the 1.5-mile speedway in Sparta, Ky. The car’s paint scheme is designed to accommodate 1,500 signatures from those who donate to the cause.

 


For $188, 100 fans can have their name on the hood and receive a team hat and autographed photo. For $88, some 400 fans will have their names on the hood, and for $50, 1,000 fans will see their names on the pit wall banner. The paint scheme will raise awareness for the hospital and all it does for chronically ill children.
