2013 Season


For the third consecutive season, Dale Jr. qualified for the Chase for the Sprint Cup in 2013. Racing NASCAR's newly-added Gen-6 car, Earnhardt Jr. earned a career-high 22 top-10 finishes en route to a fifth-place finish in the final points standings. The No. 88 team amassed 10 top-five finishes on the season, including five runner-up finishes. Additionally, Earnhardt Jr. won pole awards at Dover International Speedway and Kentucky Speedway.

Earnhardt Jr. ran the 500th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race of his career at Charlotte Motor Speedway in October.

At season's end, NASCAR fans voted Earnhardt Jr. the series' Most Popular Driver for the 11th-consecutive season.
